The HF40CLS (HF-40-CLS) is a 7MHz center-loading mobile antenna manufactured by Diamond. It is a compact HF antenna designed for mobile operation, compatible with the 7MHz amateur radio band. This model, which was limitedly released in 2023 and received positive feedback, has been reissued in limited quantities in response to numerous requests for resale. It features a high-efficiency center-loading coil and, despite its compact design of approximately 1 meter in length, demonstrates excellent radiation performance in the 7MHz band. It can handle an input power of 200W for SSB and 70W for CW, making it suitable for mobile operations as well as long-duration contest operations and FT8 operations. The antenna incorporates a rotating whip mechanism (with a folding mechanism), making it convenient for entering and exiting garages or operating in tight spaces. It uses an M-type connector (50Ω), allowing it to be combined with many mobile bases and coaxial cables. This 7MHz antenna is recommended for amateur radio mobile operations, portable operations, and field operations.
